Indian Coast Guard Odisha Bharti 2025 is inviting applications for the post of Enrolled Followers (Sweeper Safaiwala) for male Indian citizens who meet the prescribed educational qualifications and age criteria. Permanent body tattoos are not allowed, except for candidates from tribal areas as per government rules. For others, tattoos are only permitted on the inner forearms (from elbow to wrist) and on the back side of the hand. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application. Multiple applications from a candidate will result in the cancellation of their candidature. For more details, candidates are advised to read the official notification carefully.

Application Screening: Initially, all applications will be screened for eligibility based on the prescribed educational qualifications and age criteria.

Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Candidates who pass the written test will be required to complete a physical fitness test, including tasks such as running, push-ups, and sit-ups.

General Instructions for Application : Before Applying Offline

Candidates must fill in the marks of all subjects as mentioned in their marksheet while filling out the offline application. Incorrect or incomplete filling of marks may lead to disqualification.
- The Recruitment Medical Officer will assess the candidate’s medical fitness according to the laid-down medical standards and declare them either fit or unfit.
- Candidates found medically unfit will not be considered further. A pre-enrolment medical examination for all selected candidates will be conducted by the Recruitment Medical Officer at INS Chilka. The schedule for this examination will depend on the candidate’s selection status.

Candidates must submit original documents, police verification forms, and other required forms along with the E-admit card. A valid police verification certificate is mandatory.

Only one application per candidate is allowed. If multiple applications are submitted, the candidate’s candidature will be canceled.
- Candidates must upload a valid domicile certificate to determine the region for region-wise recruitment. In states where both domicile and resident certificates are required, both must be provided.
- All documents uploaded should be in Hindi or English. If a document is in any language other than Hindi or English, both the original document and an English translation must be uploaded.

Medical examinations will be conducted by authorized medical officers of the Defence Forces as per the prescribed medical standards for enrolled personnel upon entry.
